E3A Healthcare was established in 2019 on the campus of the National University of Singapore. The name “E3A” comes from the name of the Bioengineering Building at NUS, where the company was born.
We seek to become a globally leading provider of innovative newborn and women’s healthcare devices and management solutions, committed to delivering first-in-class medical devices and integrated medical IoT solutions for newborn and women’s healthcare, providing diagnosis, treatment, and management solutions from pregnancy to parenting.

Company Timeline
2019
Our journey began with a vision to improve the quality of care for newborns and women worldwide. Established at NUS in 2019, we embarked on our journey to create accessible and effective medical devices that addresses overlooked demands
2020
In 2020, we initiated the development of our first product - the YSJ series smart newborn jaundice meters. We also established our Hong Kong and Shenzhen offices to expand into the Greater China markets
2021
In 2021, we finished the development and clinical trials for our YSJ series bilirubin meter product. Furthermore, We have completed the setup of a medical device manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, which is certified with ISO-13485 standards., finalizing our capabilities for in-house development and fabrication of innovative medical devices
2022
We received Class II medical device clearance for our smart jaundice meter product from the Chinese FDA (NMPA) and pioneered the rental model for at-home jaundice monitoring. Currently, we serve over 120 hospitals across China, covering over 500K newborns annually
2023
We have showcased its outstanding technology and innovation on the international stage, from the Asian Technology Event to the Global Biotechnology event and Slush 2023 Showcase. The company was revitalized through a financing partnership with Capital Asia Investments, participation in the Foreign Enterprises Roundtable of the Ministry of Commerce of China, and a new strategic partnership with Shenzhen Qianhai Services Group. The fourth anniversary celebration and award-winning events showcased E3A Healthcare's achievements in medical technology. We remain committed to innovation and providing advanced solutions to the needs of newborn and women, while maintaining a humble approach.
2024 and Beyond
In 2024, we will enter a new era of medical technology with ambitious goals. We will continue to challenge ourselves to pursue more advanced technology and more caring services. We will deepen our global collaborations and expand into Southeast Asia and North America. Additionally, we plan to launch our first women's health device in 2024.
