E3A Healthcare Makes Waves at BIOHK2023: Expanding Its Global Presence
On September 13th, 2023, BIOHK2023 officially launched in Hong Kong, bringing together some of the most influential figures in biotechnology and healthcare. Distinguished guests included Mr. Leung Chun-ying, Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the third Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR); Mr. Bruce Beutler, Nobel Prize Laureate in Physiology or Medicine (2011); Prof. Han Jisheng from the Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Prof. Yu Changhai, Chairman of BIOHK2023. Along with a host of government representatives and leading global experts, they set the stage for a transformative event.
As one of the largest international biotechnology conventions in Asia, BIOHK2023 covered a wide range of groundbreaking topics, including healthy aging and longevity, clinical nutrition and wellness, cancer research and drug development, and the global expansion of Chinese biopharmaceutical enterprises. The event also explored policy support for life sciences in the Greater Bay Area and the advancement of traditional Chinese medicine, further cementing its reputation as a premier platform for innovation and collaboration in the biotech industry.
Our presence at BIOHK2023 is threefold. First, we're looking to expand our global network. Connecting with biotech experts and innovators, building partnerships, and keeping our finger on the pulse of the industry are key priorities.
