E3A Healthcare wins the runner-up biotech group winner at SLINGSHOT 2022 Grand Finals!
The Grand Final of the SLINGSHOT International Innovation Competition 2022 was successfully concluded on October 27 during Singapore's tech innovation week.
Yishan Medical won the runner-up and the champion of the biotech group in the final of the SLINGSHOT International Innovation Competition in Singapore with the project of the smart transcutaneous jaundice meter for newborns.
The SLINGSHOT International Innovation Competition in Singapore is jointly organized by Startup SG and EnterpriseSG, aiming to solicit creative solutions from startups worldwide.
This year's SLINGSHOT conference includes five main tracks: Health and Biomedical, Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Urban Solutions & Sustainability, Deep Tech and Consumer Goods & Services. The conference offers a total prize pool of over SGD 1.2 million (USD 0.8 million) to winners, supporting global startups to realize their dreams.
As a participant in this competition, Yishan Medical was represented by Dr. Li Shihao, the founder and CEO, who gave a comprehensive introduction to the company's product research and development achievements as well as its development plan. Yishan Medical has created a new generation of smart transcutaneous jaundice meter for newborns by using its self-developed innovative optical detection patent technology, which has successfully addressed the pain points of "difficult acquisition, difficult usage, and high price" that are commonly faced by users in the current global market for newborn jaundice care.
We hope to improve the accessibility of neonatal jaundice care worldwide through this product, reduce the health hazards of this high incidence disease on infants and young children, and better protect newborn lives!
