HKTech300 Start-up Competition: An Event for Innovation and Collaboration
On June 27, 2024, CityU held the HKTech300 Start-up Competition Awards Ceremony, spotlighting ten start-ups from five countries and regions. These teams were selected from hundreds of applicants for their groundbreaking ideas, each receiving HK$1 million in angel funding from CityU.
Mr. Harry Chen, the CFO of E3A Healthcare, introduced the company and its products to Prof. Sun Dong, Secretary for the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of Hong Kong, and Prof. Freddy Boey, President of the City University of Hong Kong.
The awards ceremony was hosted by Prof. Sun Dong, alongside Mr. Lawrence Huang and Prof. Freddy Boey. Among the esteemed guests in attendance were Mr. Chen Yulin, Director General of the Education Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Hong Kong SAR, and Mr. Vicky Koh, Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong.
