The Good Design Award in the United States is a globally recognized annual design award of great authority jointly launched by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies in 1946.
The award selects representative works from top 500 global companies in fields such as electronics, computers, and medical devices based on comprehensive evaluation of criteria such as aesthetics, innovation, and environmental protection. The winning works of the "2022 Good Design Award" were selected from more than 1,000 entries from over 50 countries worldwide. The Chicago Annual Good Design Award is organized by Christian Narkiewicz-Laine, the President and CEO of The Chicago Athenaeum Museum.
