E3A Healthcare Receives Grant Funding from Enterprise Singapore
Yishan Medical is a cutting-edge medical technology company focusing on non-invasive diagnosis and treatment for mothers and babies. It is committed to creating a hardware-based new generation consumer brand for the whole cycle of pregnancy and childbirth, focusing on the field of home medical equipment for mothers and babies. On September 13, 2021, it officially passed the application of the Singapore Enterprise Development Council (ESG), and received a R&D fund of 1.25 million yuan (S$250,000) from Startup SG Tech. The company will use this fund to develop the Southeast Asian market and new product FDA registration report.
ESG is a national statutory body affiliated to the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore. Its predecessor was the Singapore Trade Development Council (TDC) established in 1983. It is the main organization that promotes Singaporean enterprises to carry out overseas economic cooperation and assists Singaporean enterprises in internationalization. Startup SG Tech funds the rapid development of proprietary technology solutions and catalyzes the growth of startups based on patented technologies and scalable business models. The Startup SG Tech Fund is one of the most competitive R&D funds for local start-ups in Singapore. It is divided into two phases of SGD 250,000 (POC) and SGD 500,000 (POV), with a total funding of approximately RMB 3.75 million.
The ESG project funding this time marks the affirmation and recognition of the company's self-developed products by Singapore's national statutory bodies, and has become a driver for the company's continued efforts to innovate.
At the same time, the company will deepen cooperation with Singapore's local university Nanyang Technological (NTU) Entrepreneurship College NTUive and Singapore's JUMPstart medical device incubator to successfully complete the promotion of the two-stage project.
